Void Warranty By Installing Other OS?

I appreciate that i cant get a definitive answer here, but should either the manufacturer or retailers warranty be voided by installing another OS, either alongside or in place of the Linpus OS?

Nothing in their terms suggests this.

If you use the "restore" disk they wont be able to tell the difference anyway

how will you use the restore disk if the computer does not boot up ?

well how will they know what OS is on it if the computer won't boot up?
