TV Shows Thread

So I finished HOTD to end of season 2 which is all we have for a couple years now and wow, what a bad season and a terrible "finale" to it. There must be about 4-5 filler episodes that are just obnoxious introspective talking and quiet "regrets" about the suffering that will and does happen for the choices all these characters make. There's no effort to actually do anything about it however.

The truth is that the male heir has the tradition and right to the succession in the context of the world of the story. The previous king just made this mess by decreeing otherwise, so therefore he was NOT a good king at all. You don't go naming heirs to the throne if you're of able body and can still have children.

Another stupid thing is that the brother Damon hardly ages but his brother the king just falls apart hideously. This makes no sense as they couldn't be that far apart in age to be viable as brothers, this is just more nonsense plot device by the BAD writers of this series. GRRM isn't a great writer either, a former tv writer who has always just been that, it's not great books at all, the tv shows are what makes it so big, not the books.

It gets SOOO boring to hear the same low voices and regrets for almost whole episodes, then we get damons weird flashbacks and hallucinations while he bounces from castle to castle doing...nothing. We even got cringey mud wrestling with some weird AF androgyne with a deeper voice then the "men" in this show, gross. A Lannistor even. So we find that the Lannistors later come from interbred with the easterner weirdos.

Then previously we get sharing of assassins who just walk into the others HQs, empty castles with no guards just open doors to the leaders and their families, really stupid stuff. It's like these idiot writers just want to skip the details to just get their plot points, doesn't matter how they just want their things to happen. So they have the stupidest crap that's insulting to the audiences intelligence that's easy to get where they want to go. This is laced throughout the GOT universe frankly but it's very egregious in HOTD.

We have no real depth or caring about the various white haired weirdos. There is almost no charisma to any of these characters, unlike a Tyrion, Cersei, Jamie, Robb, Theon, John, Davos, Jorah etc etc etc. It's almost disturbing how bad this and AK7 are in comparison. Like there's no sense of GOT there, it's just slapped together fanfiction.

I did find the bizarre rando dragon riders to be fairly funny. It would have been even more funny if these dragon riders decided to either band together and become their own faction or take offers to change sides to the highest bidder or just simply fly away. There's nothing that they absolutely needed to do, so this queens advantage is really like the words of wind figure of speech they like to mention.

The Targs have this reputation of being crazy but we get mundane and boring mostly. They also think themselves gods simply because they can control dragons, the wmds of this world, but even that is diluted through the bastard progeny and relations.

The finale of s2 is just a buildup to s3 which likely will have a battle but will probably waste 5 episodes for it to actually happen. There is no payoff to the mundane boring s02 at all in the finale. So then 2 more years and likely half a season or more to even get this multi dragon battle. We're coming up on it now of course but I couldn't imagine counting the episodes in anticipation of this battle and whatever comes next which will likely be in 2028. YUK.

This milking of the franchise is disgusting. Wouldn't it be better to have 3-4 tight seasons with the sort of payoffs and such of GOT all done in 4 years total then move on to an immediately before the GOT prequel? It'd be cheaper and keep people interested in the universe longer. S1 and S2 could have easily been combined into one season of 10 or 12 episodes. More action, tighter more focused dialogue, more dragon usage and such. But we got mostly flaccidity with drops here and there.

Been re re watching Metalocalypse which is so absurdist it's hilarious. It does get a bit too gory and satanic at times but the good outweighs the bad for me. We only got 4 seasons and the last 2 are noticeably worse than the first 2. Then later we got a couple of longer movies that tie up the ending I guess, neither are very good imo

The episodes in s1-s2, s4 are like 10 mins long which is fine, s3 switched to 20 mins or so which is good but the episodes are not that good compared to earlier seasons. S1 are 11:31 consistently, 311 variant, S2 are 11:16, 611 variant, s3 vary a bit more but usually 22:xx, 22, v, bb being so important to them it's in their "peace" handsign which is no such thing, that's for the ignorant public not in their cult. S4 returns to the 11:16 format mostly. 11 is a satanic number, one more then Gods 10. I like to think the satanists 11th commandment is "do as thou wilt is the whole of the law" or some variant like as above so below, ordo ab chao, coagula et solve, etc etc same garbage.

These are total idiots who don't care about anything really but their primetime is on stage belting out metal rock. And it's done in a fantastical manner. They're totally out of it and little more than drunk monkeys grunting and such outside of that, good for nothing other than consuming various things, usually perverted.

There is a religio-conspiracy over arching story about the metalocalypse with a central council of high lords of various areas like military, religion, business etc which hilariously take these rockers very seriously as a societal force. With a supreme leader who exhibits supernatural powers. It's all dark though. There are a set of fans trying to trip them up also called the revengeancers who intersect with this high council at times.

Some of the jams are actually pretty good, most of them are just typical metal noise though. I also think the intro eats up too much episode time in the shorter episode seasons, they should have dropped it at some point or just severely shortened it up or skipped it every couple of episodes imo. The gore is as metal/satanic as they could get in a cable show on adult swim but it's not all the time thankfully. I just find the absurdity hilarious.

I was also thinking a bit more about Game of Thrones and another detail is that there is a war of 5 kings then later there is a war of 5 queens lol. You get denaris, yara, the dornish woman, cerce and sansa. All of them pretty cringey tbh, the kings were better by far. You could make the case that Yara wasn't the real ruler of the Iron Islands but her uncle Yuron however in the end Yara IS the queen of the Iron Islands and before that she makes a deal with Denaris as the queen of the II's so it's at least half true. Also to Yuron Cerse is his queen so this puts him under her in terms of rulership.

Of course this ends with some weird form of federation with Bran/one eyed raven as emperor and a council of regional rulers who pick the next emperor. This mirrors English history as I've said, whole series is mostly about English(and british) history mixed with English(and british) interference and domination of Continental European history. This was done with talmudick-kabbalist networks and later masonic networks which are the creation of the T-K networks. Corruption and control is easy with long corrupt monarchs and princes. We even got the royal incest angle in the show. The talmudick kabbalists of a certain level certainly had this no doubt.

Of course the vile feminazism of this show shows its head with John Snow aka Aegon Targaryan whose mother is a Stark, which should have made him supreme ruler in many ways but instead he was exiled to the North beyond the wall by these so called "queens", for their safety ig.

So the Starks really win out with Sansa becoming Queen of an independent Northern kingdom, Bran stark as emperor of everywhere else in westeros-europe. They do leave the incompetent Edmure Tully in there as a nice weak minded fool to manipulate and of course Tyrion Lannistor as Lord of Casterly rock and likely warden of the west. The exterminated houses being Targaryan, Tyrells, Boltons, Freys and some of the minor houses of the various regions like the Boltons, Tarleys etc They murder Littlefinger at Winterfell, Varis is burned alive, etc

Sansa is the most cringey character later in the series, like the complexion becomes some supremely ruthless all knowing beetch, she's not that smart the whole series but when the plot needed it she was made into this monster. John goes on his brooding way to oblivion likely as the new king of the True North at some point. It's not out of the question that Drogon could come back and John could ride him as the only targaryan. But Johns character as a dour do gooder probably negates this WMD power.

Another point about Metalocalypse is the falseness of the depiction of the relationship between the council of lords, who are presented as a panel with a supreme lord in a suit, and these rockers. IRL rockers and the other media monkeys are made up as needed by higher cult members going up the ladder to the high illuminati scum. These entertainers and others are not ownership in most cases they're like stars that fade and burn out, they can move up to higher levels than where they get to by serving the cult to corrupt and brainwash the public and likely some ugly occult rituals and such, but most are not direct ownership high elite level.

These stars are creations of the cult for cult business nothing more. The songs are written by other cult members who may even play the role of ghost writers crediting the star, mixed and manipulated by other cult members and marketed and pushed onto the public by yet more cult members. A brainwashing circuit combine monopoly.

So it's the opposite of what is shown, as above so below etc, inversion tactics. As I've said ALL media etc etc is a cult product for decades and more.

Rewatching Malcolm in the Middle which is such a great show. As with most shows the best seasons are the middle ones or one or two seasons after the first so the show finds it's beats and everyone has settled into their roles and the story can shine. It is a typical show about a totally fantasy world but does manage to entertain. There are definitely overbearing mother themes, likely from the jewish writers and their mothers. It's fairly evident in the casting choice for Louis.

The clichés are stupid men boys being animals and the poor mommy-females who have to curb all that and etc A bit more complex feminism in modern tv shows no doubt. This is usually the opposite of reality. As I've said men are superior physical size, bigger brain, less tied to material things so can be more spiritual than women, more reason logical etc Of course there are always exceptions in most things. I wouldn't say that about the various female Saints like St Catherine of Sienna etc and of course The Blessed Virgin Mary etc.

The drama and craziness comes from women most of the time. But also good things too.

This show is mostly family friendly and clean which is nice. Most shows are explicit and high in overt violence and sex etc or at least shows I watch like GoT, Wire, even animated shows, etc

Also The Boys S05 so far. Eh it's a lurid show that is part of the wave of the Anti-(super)Hero shows and motif. A look at the negative side. In real life superheros would be a total mess and disaster for mankind and it's good they don't exist.

They are just a different version of the Greco-Roman pantheon. Of course St Augustine proved in his book that these gods are just a version of the fallen angels/demons. If you read any of their myths they're worse than soap operas. Demons exist but they are limited and restrained by God in what they can do to Man.

It of course varies per person and also per the times, God sometimes allows more freedom to the fallen angels to corrupt and deceive mankind, sometimes less. Most of the times before Christ, the demons and their leader satan-lucifer were MUCH stronger. This receded a lot in the 1000 or so years after Christ came. Really around when Constantine took it up and ended the Roman Persecution of Christians which lasted around 300 years. Only really being totally smashed when Christian unity was destroyed with scum like Henry 8th, Luther and the rest of them to the totally evil dark times we live in now and getting worse by the minute. It may seem like we've achieved total material happiness but spiritually it's a wasteland. And even the material abundance is corrupting and bad for us. Wage slavery, death by a thousand fees and charges and costs, the marxist superstate intervenes in so many details of just living now, etc etc

So the Boys is def lurid and violent and features plenty of slurs and insults to Christ and Christians. Even more evident in S5. I kept watching this show because it was ok the first season and I just kept going to the end of S4 and now S5 is about halfway done. It's ok. I didn't plan on watching more but I've just been in a dry spell tv wise having overwatched Got and went through House of the Dragon and A Knight 7 kingdoms and various rewatches I've mentioned.

I wouldn't go to any trouble watching it like subscriptions etc but of course I get my stuff where it's free.

Just getting back to The Boys, oof it gets offensive to Christianity more and more as it goes on. It's evident the talmudicks-kabbalist scum who own the media do the writing and get very bold. A bunch of tranny freak actors aka jewmasontranny satanic cult scum production. As I said it's a lurid show that is nonsensical and bizarre. Glad I don't pay for it and I'm hoping this is the last season of this filth.

Malcom rewatch still going. Once again S2-s3 are the best of it but it's still pretty decent in later seasons. The short 4 episode reunion this year is actually pretty good. It definietly has the malcolm whackiness feel to it. The stupid parts are that Malcolm, who would have been a Doctor or Physics professor is shown as some IT-type for some non profit, that makes little sense and is not logical with the original 7 seasons. And Jamie, the youngest one turns out to be a tranny, a ladyboy. Pretty gross.

A family that dysfunctional would likely have this type of sickness though. It is funny as a show but really it celebrates degeneracy pretty much throughout but in a clean family friendly-esque way. It also features feminazism pretty heavily throughout. Only the women(ladyboys IRL btw) are level headed and smart. The males are all presented as just barely controlled animals, balderdash.

Getting back to Malcolm rewatch it does feature good comedy that's relatively clean. However I will say that the mother Louis is def abusive and will cause all sorts of mental problems in her children like anxiety disorders and others. However in the show the children are portrayed as much worse as any real children would be. The overarching theme is feminazism once again. Males really bad, females good. A marxist pillar of delusion and destruction.

But it does get very cringey to watch the explosive mother and the cowering children and husband. They're all mental in this show. The media wmd of the jewmasontrannys is a weapon and watching these things and taking it in constantly causes a terrible strain on any good in people. I don't leave myself out of that. I'm just as addicted obviously. The images BY the beast is also the image OF the beast itself. And shows itself, themselves for what they are to everyone and to themselves. They record the evidence against themselves. Free will means choices and in the case of the cult and those like it, it's just more and more rope for a looong noose of their own making.

Now I've met cult members when I had no idea they were part of the cult and to them they know nothing else. The internal double mindedness of these people is real. For instance many are on the surface true believing Christians but how they can't see the deception of being a tranny, mason etc is mind boggling. The only conclusion is that this is inversion on all levels and a huge cult hallmark. And those who say they represent the REAL CHURCH who don't call them out and cast them out are either members themselves or NOT in the REAL CHURCH.

There is no hate for them in me. It would be like hating someone with a disability because they're disabled. Afflicted. However they are responsible to God for their doings, there is an objective reality and the cost will be paid in reality at some point for them. When you hide or celebrate mental, physical and emotional dysfunction you are doing evil. When you take part in deception you are doing evil. When your real values DO NOT equate with the TRUE REAL CHURCH you are doing evil, despite appearances.

I've seen them have fake baby bumps, fake Christian faith, etc etc They are responsible for that. And once you raise lab grown children into the cult you are fully responsible for the cult.

Watching The Boys in it's final season also. It's lurid and gross but does have some decent comedy to it. This is def a. NOTHER tribester production in it's media matrix of death no doubt. It's a snake fascination really. You can't look away from the drama and spectacle. We were FAR better off before all this dystopian tech and the media wmd matrix.

These are def end times. How could it not be, the massive tech since around 1900 is something from the devil but it's been growing for centuries. The evil spiritual groundwork had to be laid, everything starts as an idea and plan BEFORE it materializes in the world. That takes time. The satanic "renaissance" and such is when it ramped up immensely, growing to a crescendo at some future point. You see the devil and his followers intend on puling a grand deception by using the Book of Apocalypse as it's rough script. But once again, as the devil was bamboozled at the Crucifixion he will be bamboozled at the end.

The series finale of The Boys was pretty underwhelming. This series was mostly about spectacle and the bad guy superheroes trope. I think this whole mediocre to bad series could have been done in 3 seasons or less. There were so many throw away characters and side stories. The show was hard to follow and it seemed like endless reasons to keep going or for people to get out of being killed off.

The show was lurid spectacle mostly and used recent news way too much along with the typical talmudick-kabbalist scums fixations and schemes like "nazi america", equating christianity with fascism and other disgusting libels by these disgusting pagan cultists. It featured lots of hyper violence, blood, pornographic sexual stuff and more.

The first season was by far the best, that freshness of it and a story unencumbered by all the twisted knots of side stories and such that largely strangled this series.

So we got what the series has obviously building up to for seasons now: Homelander defeated. Only the exact mechanic of how that is to be done was the mystery there. Of course Butcher whose whole reason for being in the whole series was to defeat Homie had no reason to exist after that and the writers obliged this necessity. We then got the typical corny happy ever after with louie and starlight etc etc

The series was like a limp-numbed prisoner just stacked in a cell waiting for nondescript execution and it was like that mostly. Nothing too interesting. And like most series now it took way too long to finally end. I suppose 5 seasons should take at most 5 years and from the dates online this overshot that by 2 years. Any longer and people would def have lost most interest in it, massive loss of audience.

With this series you could just watch season 1 and then skip to the final season without missing too much frankly. Homie was setup as the bad guy almost from the get go, the in between was just a mud bog of forgettable stuff.

The loose ends are Homies father, Soldier Boy, whom H imprisons in a sleep chamber. Apparently he's still a super hero. And there are still super heroes all over and then Vought survives, so there's definitely the possibility this just goes on and on. Through some mechanism through the asian woman secret weapon, butcher and homelanders son lose their super powers at the end. This is how Homelander loses his powers too. This is not explained too well in the show it just happens etc Sooo many similar things and situations the whole series, tilting at windmills nonsense just padding 2 or more seasons oof.

House of the Dragon S3 premiere episode was actually pretty good. We finally got more than just slow boring dialogue about "innocents who will die if I do this or that" by the two major characters of milicent and the dragon queen.

We got some nice dragon combat and some meaningful things happen. I'm thinking this should be the last season of this series instead of dragging it out for 2 more years wait for another season. Better to have a new series that bridges this time and the time immediately before the original GOT.

S3 episode 2 was a mixed bag for House of the Dragon. At once we got some more resolution, or seeming resolution and at the same time some more cringey stuff and nonsense.

So we finally get rhaynera doing something to claim what she's supposedly wanted and had the right to, the throne. But also we get the nonsense from season 2 where they at once regret it and she's balling on the throne for doing what she was fine doing or potentially doing in S1: ie killing enemies and being ruthless. It's cringe no doubt. And we get a cliffhanger after she executes Lord Hightower in the throne room and they catch and bring there Aliicent or milicent I can't remember the name. Like there's some sort of moral power that she has standing there over her dead father and rhanys balling on the iron throne. Weird.

So we get the very weird "concert" scene with Daemon and his allies as victors. Very cringey, close to as cringe as the lannistor mud wrestling in s1 or s2 can't remember. All through this series there are so many characters I can't remember ones who come out of nowhere to have their big scenes. And the main ones I do remember seem to be in these nonsensical situations.

For instance the Sea Snake is pushed into the raging ocean during a battle in his full armor. I'm sorry but no one is going to survive that. They'd drown in so much added weight and the ocean rolling them not to mention during a ship battle scene. But we see him on the beach next and watching his fam seat burning. This is even though his enemies in that battle are all dead or indisposed.

This is also confusing because there are 2 lannistor lords who look similar but one gets killed in the daemon river run area battle and the other one gets pushed into the ocean during the sea snake battle. His androgenous ally from the east betrays him to take revenge on the sea snake but IT is killed by the sea snakes estranged son or something like that.

Then we get the very confusing allicent-millicent moves which seem to waffle almost by the minute. I mean who knows what's going on since the latest greens monarch flees with the not so subtly named lord larys(Varis from GOT lmao) for some reason to go to rhanys i guess not sure. SO they get captured of course and then we lose track of them this episode.

Then we get aegon being sent to harrenhal for some reason by his mother and he gets stabbed while in full armor and collapses in front of some rando character that's important now who was snubbed by daemon earlier when she wanted harrenhal officially. So this sets up the idea that she will nurse aegon to health who will ride the largest dragon to battle with rhanys and deamon. This is most likely.

The first scene is the bastard son of rhanys funeral and her anger over that etc

Ok last few eps of HOTD in the new season 3 are fairly good. The first ep is a nice return to action and big events. It then sort of delves into details bottle episodes from there and now the last one ep 6 is more slower one with lots of scheming and not too much big things happening.

Some major points of ep6 are the Sea Snake being probably killed off, Alicent agreeing to go to Aemond and assassinate him, Daemons gold cloaks largely abandoning service, Aemond seemingly forming an alliance with the witch at harrenhal, Sir Cristan Cole and his guerillas being slaughtered.

So we'll see how that all turns out in the final few episodes. No idea if there's more than s3 or not.

Besides HOTD I'm doing a Simpsons rewatch. I stick with eps from s4-s9/10 mostly. The classic top seasons. With a smattering of 1-3 and 10-15 or so. Most say the best seasons are 4-8 but I'd include 9 and most of s10 in that. It really doesn't drop off too much until maybe 17-18 and I really mostly stopped watching consistently past s20 or a little before that. I'm sure it has great episodes even up to the current season 35 or so but I'm just not interested in more.

I separate out the Treehouse of Horror eps and watch up to around s17 of those episodes. I also separate out the Sideshow Bob episodes and watch those up to s21 or so. But mostly SSB is best up to around s14.

I have exhausted rewatching and re rewatching Malcolm in the Middle. Moved on for a while.

After watching House of the Dragon s3e07 I have to say this is a suspense middle episode. It should be titled "Maybe" because there are a lot of things, most really, that COULD be big but we're never permitted to see the outcome so they may just be the OLD trick of stringing viewers along for the next episode where it will actually show the outcome of these various "Maybes".
-Does Alicent actually poison Aemond and does he die?
-Does Hugh Hightower really recruit one of the bastard dragonriders to fight on his side by making fantastic promises of a major castle lordship?
-Do the Greens actually kill the rogue dragon Sheepstealer??
-What is the next step in Aegons return with the sudden return of his dragon to destroy part of Rhayneras army?
-What part does the prisoner the Sea Snake play?
-What's next for Lord Lannistor who is with Aegon when his dragon suddenly appears again, supposedly risen from the dead.
-Will Rhaynera prevail or be decisively defeated or is this just another indecisive decision to make us wait for another 2 or more years to get more?

This is likely the penultimate episode of this season so cliffhangers are to be expected but it gives heavy stringing along filler vibes.

So finishing with S3 of House of the Dragon the final episode was pretty good but it once again had no clear happenings on the largest levels. We see that Damon sees firsthand the devastation of dragonfire and its effects on regular people so we're given the indication that he will not be as bloodthirsty going forward. We also see Rhaynera sort of switches places with Damon in becoming a bloodthirsty tyrant type of person. She has the High Septum slaughtered, she orders the destruction of Tumbleton, she precipitates the suicide of her sister, she says she will slaughter her family relations that oppose her. Rhaynera is a tyrant who thinks she is the promised conqueror when that isn't even Daenerys, it's actually John Snow the hidden Targeryan. So therefore Rhaynera is destined to be an annihalator of her own house save the left over ones that rise again in Game of Thrones to mostly wither away.

You will notice that the end of Game of Thrones had no Church of the Seven representative among it's sickening ridiculous world council ending. Typical jewmasontranny cult stuff and it's obvious the High Septum is a fictional Pope. They even had a Pope Francis look a like in the Game of Thrones as the "high sparrow". Sick stuff by a sick cult. The common thread there is that the new tyrants always target the church. The end ones don't even mention it. These sick jewmasontranny scum will rot in hel for sure, where they belong. Their jew-masonic socialist republic is as doomed as they are. I only regret how this will effect those who are not part of the cult or cult members who are ignorant fools blindly following the lemmings. However anyone who is part of the cult, ignorant or not, deserves punishment. Maybe not the full punishment of the cult that knows more but they do deserve punishment.
