Hello,
I received an used Envy17 cg1 notebook, which is equipped with an PCIe drive and has an empty space for a 2.5" SATA SSD.
I ordered this cable (https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0BBLV6R46) to connect the SSD with the notebook, however the SSD is not recognized in BIOS, nor when I boot Win 11 or Linux.
Unfortunately I can't find hardware support documents on the HP website.
I tried different drives, which are all recognized, when I connect them external over an USB SATA adapter, but none is recognized when connected inside the notebook.
I detected no jumpers and no Bios option, to enable the onboard SATA-connector.
Has anybody some tips for me?
