Hello All,
I need some technical advice for replacing a failed hard drive. I have a Dell P55F (Inspiron 7568). It's getting long in the tooth but still runs Linux well. I don't want to part with it because it has a 17" screen and backlit keyboard. The original drive is mechanical and I'd like to replace it with a Solid State unit. I'd just like to know if the existing connection to the drive will be compatible with an SSD (as long as the form factor is the same)? I'm looking at this particular drive at the moment:
https://www.amazon.com/Kingston-480...id=1759151459&sprefix=SA400S37,aps,167&sr=8-1
Can someone please let me know if this drive would be compatible with my Dell?
TIA
