Can I recover permantly deleted local files on a chromebook after 7 months to 1yr of their deletion?

I have an oldish chromebook. Im not too sure how to find the model number since there are multiple ways ive seen after looking online, but im pretty sure I have a "3110 2in1" dell chromebook as it says that in the bottom.


Ive had some old photos on my chromebook that were stored locally, but about 7 months to a year ago, I permanently deleted them, and would like to know if there was any way to get them back?

After looking online some people said it could be possible using linux, some said it wasnt possible at all, due to chromebooks not having a system like windows to recover permanently deleted files. Id like to know, is it a 100% guarentee that they are gone forever?
