    hi all,

Small problem with my AAO - if I put my laptop to sleep or hibernate, the wifi totally disappears. A reboot fixes this but its rather annoying.

Oh and the wifi switch on the front doesn't seem to do much and feels rather ropey!

    Any advice appreciated.
    Thanks :)

There are quite a few posts on this issue. If you do a search you'll see quite a few.

Appears a BIOS update or driver update MAY fix the issue. Most people are recommending the fix you already found, to reboot.

Still waiting on a better fix from Acer from what I can tell.

    Hello,

My AAO seems to have the same trouble.

Is it a hardware or a software problem?

I think most people are of the opinion that it is a software issue. I never hibernate/suspend my laptop so I'm not sure. I always power off so I never have the issue.

Most likely it will be fixed with a driver update, if that update ever comes...
