write speed to SD/USB/HD

    I have a 120gb xp version, I have tethering a camera to the computer, the images are currently going directly to the harddrive, any idea about the speed to write directly to an SD card? (this would be USB camera to SD)

    I would assume that I'd take a speed hit to write from USB to a USB drive or stick.

    Also, has anyone done speed tests over the 3 USB ports to determine if they are all functioning at the same speed?

    Is there any speed advantage between the 2 SD slots?
