    Hi,

I am running hardy heron 8.04 on my third install to get wireless working.
Followed the guides completely and wireless works intermittently then dies.
    Lspci
shows no wireless adapter on many reboots, despite switching card on and off again via manual switch.
When it does showup it is the last lspci entry starting with:
    :03:00....and lists the driver.
When this happens, dmesg also displays a reference to ACPI, and an additional routing table.
This reference is missing, when the lspci fails to list the driver.
Anyone understand why the system is apparently not recognizing the pci connection?
Is this the root of the wireless problem, perhaps.
    Thanks
    in advance.
