wireles connection in Mexico

    I am located in Mexico I use the prodigy 1mgb lan conection.When I plug in the lan connects with no problem.I set up the wireless conection and it found my lan as infinitume 4540D.I set it up and it tries to connect for 30 secunds then I get conection disconected.Of course Mexicos Prodigy help have never heard of linux and they could not help me.Any ideas.
