winmodem and softmodem

    does anybody here knows how to install a softmodem on AAO110 with linpus linux lite? is this supported by linux? :evil:

    What type of "softmodem" you mean?? Those softmodems/winmodems are mostly internal PCI/PCIe card which is driven by software installed under Windows. In case of AA1 you'll install external modem (mostly USB) which is not any of above - it's full modem...
