    Hey all

I just installed windows xp sp3 on the a-one, but the sound still doesn't work. I've installed the drivers from the european acer ftp site and there are no problems during installation, but there is no hardware device after rebooting.

Anyone else have this problem, know how to fix it?

I'll recommend that you check that out, I probably went through the exact same hassle.

    Damn, it didn't work....

Anyone else have any other ideas? Do I have to revert back to sp2?

Was this an N-lite'd install? In the long run I actually installed a non nLite XP and then installed the drivers, in the "proper" order, and made sure that everything worked(sound especially) before installing SP3. Just wondering since you made no mention of whether or not you did use nLite with any of this... since it is a tendency here amongst AAO users I figure I'd ask.
