I installed windows by following this guide for the eee pc: http://www.eeeguides.com/2007/11/instal ... thumb.html

I bought the laptop yesterday and I really liked the linux interface but since I'm in the IT field I decided to install windows.

You will need the Atheros drivers for the AR5006EG Wireless card, avail on the net
You will need the RTL8102E drivers, avail on the net at http://www.realtek.com.tw
You will need the audio driver, download at http://www.realtek.com.tw its the one for hd audio codec
You will need the INF chipset installation driver, available at http://www.intel.com, go to downloads, chipsets, laptop 945, download the inf install tool.

I had a few issues... the 8GB SSD is so god awful slow... I don't know why exactly, its supposed to be way faster. Maybe windows needs a driver for this.

Any questions are more then welcome.

Hi, i'm an italian boy that work in a PC Shop. Today we take the AspireOne and we are tryng to install windows. Now i'm at the last step of installation but i have a question. Ther's a fast way to download the drivers? From the .TH site are so slowly.

Another question. I see that ther's a D2D partition enabled but the D2D don't start. Why?
Sorry for the english. See you later

I erased all the partitions, in case I ever want to put linux back on it, I have the DVD for recovery. Not sure what the D2D partition did but its erased now I have the full 8GB. I also diable d2d in the bios.

Regards
