I have a partial install of Windows 7 on my laptop, which failed in mid-process. It will not open, and directs me back to Vista, which is still installed. How can I erase that failed Windows 7 set-up and start over?

If you still have the original discs I recommend you to delete the whole thing and reinstall the whole thing again. Whenever something failed (installing a OS or an important component) I tried that and it worked. Good luck!
