The wireless runs fine when the computer is plugged in, but slows drastically when I unplug it. How do I keep it from doing this?

IF you are running XP, see properties for the networkcard in device manager - advanced - set powersaving to normal or off (or something similar)

Guys, I cannot find the power saving option. I can go only as far as the advanced tab under the network adapters in the device manager.

You don't see a list of properties with Power Save Mode listed when you click on the advanced tab?

Also, I'm running Atheros AR5007EG 7.6.1.170 driver with no issues using the Maximum setting.

When did you buy your AAO? The unstable wifi is due to the unstable AAO powersupply. The unstable powersupply have been causing a lot of issues such as lag, BSOD, unstable wifi, blank screens...etc

I bought it in mid November. I haven't heard of any power supply issues until now. I'm not having any BSOD's or any more issues with WiFi on the AAO than any of my other computers that use wireless on my network. Everything appears to be normal, except for an intermitant hibernate and standby problem, but that is caused by something else.
