I recently reinstalled Windows XP and I put on my own version of Windows XP SP2...

    I installed all the drivers on ftp://ftp.work.acer-euro.com/netbook/as ... 10/driver/

And I can not get the Wireless to pick up anything. It keeps saying 'No Wireless networks were found in range'

I tired flashing the BIOS to the newest version, didn't work.
I tired installing another Atheros Driver (7.6.1.160), didn't work
    I tired installing Windows SP3, didn't work.

I don't understand... not even the Ethernet is working.

In Device Manager under Network Adapters I have:
    Atheros AR5007EG Wireless Network Adapter
Realtek RTL8102E Family PCI-E Fast Ethernet NIC

Both are said to be working properly.

I don't know what else to do, I am completely stumped.

Is wi-fi card activated by sliding switch in front of the netbook??
Are you absolutely sure Access Point you expect to detect is set to broadcast SSID??

Wow.. I can't believe it was something that simple. The switch doesn't stay on one side. I just had to move it over for a split second.

    Thanks.
