    Hi

This is my first post and i hope you can help. I cant connect to the internet on my acer notebook that has linux ( i think ) on it. I dont have a recovery cd/dvd either to make a restore usb stick. Is there anywhere i can download or get a dvd from. I have tried searching on here but non of the links work.

The wifi light is on but no icon in the bottom right and clicking network centre does nothing.

    Thanks Ian

I have the same issues with the kids Aspire One.

Network light is on, but no icon and I cant get into the config for networking.

Any suggestions ? Is it worth a flash ? If so where do I find the files to put on a USB drive ?

    c
