wifi excellent connection but internet SLOWW

i brought the AAO 3 days ago , pass two days the wireless internet was pretty decent. tonight, its really really really slow. downloading speed is around 3-5k/sec. signal strength is very good. The speed go back to normal when i bring the AAO near the wireless router.

Here is my setup. the router is upstairs in a closet. I am down on the main floor.

Question is why do i get a very good signal strength but slow internet? and why did the speed dropped massively tonight??

Ah ok i just turned off my logitech wireless speakers and the surfing speed is back up to normal again. I guess it was the speakers. Is there anyway to fix this? i dont want to turn the speakers off everytime i surf the web on the AAO! thanks

What OS? Windows XP? If so, just disable the wifi energy saving on the atheros card and you're fine.
