wifi and volume info not showing up and more

    wifi and volume info not showing up and more, had some issues the other day when my 5 7 and 9 stopped working and i did a roll back of the keyboard driver and it worked again. well now i have not seen the volume indacater on the screen or the wifi disable deal that is in blue. is there something that i just happand to remove or how will i get that back. 1gb win xp 140gb hdd

    Right click on the taskbar and click properties. Next to hide inactive icons, click customise, and change the volume and whatever else you want to "always show". Hope that helps.

    thanks for the help but that is not it. i am talking about the green text that would pop up when i changed a item with the Fn button. any one know?
