Which one for wife

Thanks in advance . So looking for laptop for wife . She’s only going to use it for internet, very very minor MS office stuff and possibly a PT work from home gig. I was going to buy here one of those $200-300 ones but read they are garbage . I was going to because her use will be so minimal . She has a MacBook Air which lasted about 12 years now. So it has treated us well. This time she doesn’t want an apple . She want dell, Lenovo, HP etc. one of those that runs windows . Is there a decent laptop in the $600 dollars range that Make using internet quick? Thanks again.
