Where to find 6-Cell Battery?

I assume since so many of you are ordering or have received your Aspire Ones, many of you are also interested in where to find the 6-Cell battery for the One.

I am in this camp as well, so if you find the 6-cell battery in stock, please list the link, price, and country available in. I'm looking for one in the US, but everywhere I go they are backordered.

Hey thanks, but they look like they are "special order 1-2 weeks". I'm going on a trip soon, so I'll probably order one when I get back. Would have been nice to have 5+ hours of battery for the trip though.
 
I just checked it a couple of minutes ago and NCIX now seem to have it in stock in white and blue but the price is now $129. You only seem to be able to order it if you are in Canada or USA though!
 
I had read on the internet somewhere that the 6 cell batteries wouldn't be shipping till August, so I was surprised that NCIX in Canada say they have them in stock!
 
The battery is currently not available here in the Philippines, which is odd as Taipei is a mere hour and a half plane ride from Manila.

That's pretty steep. I am waiting for my One that I pre-ordered at play.com for 199.99 (I am hoping they will stick to that price when the time eventually comes) and 40% of the price of the machine just for a battery is not great value.

Most of the trains and even long-haul planes I go on have sockets these days so I may not be away from a mains socket so often to care that much about battery life. We shall see...

That really is too steep. I hope there'll be some 3-cell Acer made batteries and some huge(7000-11000aMh) 3rd party batteries available too. I keep checking eBay daily for those.

If I just had another 3-cell battery I'd have almost 5 hours of battery life. That would suit me just fine.
 
Hi sir! Are you familiar with cdrking shops? I noticed they're sellling battery packs that can be used to charge laptops...it has a selector for 16v & 19v...you think we could use it on our One?

This one looks decent. I have the APC UPB70. The one you listed doesn't show a price, but it has more mAh than the APC one.

With the APC, I've been able to use the One for 5-6 hours before I have to disconnect and start using the One's battery.

You have two links I found after digging out. For battery better to take an official one insteaf of a compatible or copy that could be dangerous ...
