    Yep, just an Aspire One A150 (hard drive model) with upgraded memory, you can get them in the UK. Personally I would, and did, go for the cheaper 512MB model and add a 1GB stick to it, more memory and cheaper, but if you don't want to go opening it up yourself it's good they're releasing models with more memory.

    Do they use fairly standard memory? How hard to get to the RAM slot? I added RAM to my iBook so I am reasonably capable. ;-)

    believe me I have done it and its nothing like upgrading an ibook ;)

    search the Hardware section, plenty of posts on the upgrade there.
    watch a couple of videos on youtube as well if you can.

    Standard DDR2 SO-DIMMs, think I paid £10.50 for a 1GB stick. Installation is a little more long-winded than with most laptops though to say the least as they weren't really designed to be upgraded. As nmesisca said, take a look at the guides on here to see what the process is like.
