wep on airport, cannot access, worth calling tech support?

So acer charge 50p per minute to call their hardware fault line. I am told that I need to call this number to help with my problem. I cannot access my Airport router with security enabled :( Without is fine (although the acer mail program can only [i]send[/i] messages). Does anyone think its worth calling?
