Hi, perhaps i should be embarrassed to ask a Q that everyone else knows already, but i never used anything with built-in webcam before, thus zero experience.

I recently acquired a Win10 laptop a few weeks ago and i just realized my "camera privacy settings" was set by default to enable apps to access my laptop's camera.

Does this mean that any sites i accessed could have taken pictures of me without my realizing it?
Or otherwise have compromised my privacy? BTW, it's Lenovo, with Windows Defender.

Thanks. I also wouldn't mind if someone could enlighten me re: what use i can put it to, (i.e. might i ever have use for it?
