WebCam MP only 0.3 and PCI-e port not found

    On Aamzons website the 150-1126 (white) and equivilent models in blue were to come with a 1.3MP webcam and a free PCI-e port. I opened the compartment and found no PCI-e port, just solder points. Also...the webcam is only 0.3MP. I called CDW and they reported a 1.3MP camera aswell.

    Does anyone have a 1.3MP webcam or a unit that came with the PCI-e port ready to use?

    If so, what model is it you have?

    No. All AA1 models are 0.3mpix only. And again - there is no miniPCIe connector and SIM card holder in any of AA1 at the moment... There is a lot of threads about it on this forum...

    Sounds like they got confused with the Dell Mini 9. That one DOES offer a 1.3MP cam and a spare PCIe slot.

    Not really. Dell mini 9 is also only 3G ready but w/o slot for modem. There is space for miniPCIe only...

    I've read a couple different places that the 160g/1g/xp/6-cell version does have a 1.3 mp camera.

    I just got the 160g/1g/xp/6-cell version a few days ago... How can I determine the cam specs? Dev Mgr is no help....

    I just took a pic with the camera and got the resolution from the pic.. 640x480 unfortunately in my case (my aao is a different configuration though).
