Vista Installation using USB stick

    After going through various guides to install XP and Vista on Aspire One, I ran into exceptionally simple method of installation using USB memory. Perhaps this will be of use to others as well. I imagine it should work with XP also. If someone wants to give it a shot, be sure to report back. Either way, felt much easier than any other guide I have seen so far.

    I am still in the process of installing as I type this but so far so good!

    edit: This worked perfectly for me even if it was rather time consuming due to the slowness of my memory stick.

    So you followed the guide at the top exactly and it all works fine?

    Indeed. The system booted off the USB memory as if it were an ordinary CD drive. After all the complicated guides, I was really surprised how simple this was.

    AFAIK this only work with windows Vista.
