    considering that most of the reviews on the link rubbish it, I certainly wouldn't waste my time or money on it.

    Why not just use VGA to output 1080P?

    i know not all tv's take 1080p via vga (if available) maybe that's why he's looking at that device?

    i've used a component to vga adapter for years and have had issues on some tv's. some would just not sync, others would be impossible to center the video.
