My Aspire One just arrived yesterday (cute!) but when I tried to plug in the same Flash drive I use in my office PC and home laptop, it doesn't go in (tried all 3 USB ports). Am I missing something? I don't want to force it and break something. Thanks.

The first couple times, the usb connect is very tight. After using a couple times, it'll act normal.

Thanks. I did push a little harder, and it went in. I was afraid to force it before. How I'm all set! It's good to knos this forum is here for the less-sophisticated users -- like me.

I tried 5 cables before I read this thread and forcing it a little bit really does work. Thanks! :D

PC's with USB ports, just like ships, are considered to be female gender. The proof is in this thread : If it doesn't go in the first time, you need to force it in - and in the future it will go in easier...
