usb dial-up/fax modem on linux AAO

    hi i'm new to this site and to linux as well. i have tried searching the web for an answer on how i can set up a usb dial-up modem on my Linux Lite AAO, but no success. i've search local shops for a linux-supported usb dial-up modem but can't find one. almost all supports windows xp/vista only. can somebody please help. i'll appreciate the help. thanks.

    dont know its what your after, but i plugged (uk network) the orange icon 225 usb modem straight in and it ran straight off. all the other networks usb 3g dongles needed messing about with but this ran straight off. i bought mine of ebay for 20 quid and popped a 3g pay go sim card in.
