US / UK keyboard

I'm new to all this so it'll probably be obvious, but how do I change the keyboard setting from US to UK? I've got the UK printing on the keyboard but the pound sign isn't on the 3 and the 2 is the @ symbol!

First, make sure you have downloaded Acer updates
> Settings > Live Update

I am having the @US/UK problem@. My problem started after I received the latest updates. I can change my keyboard to US but when I am not looking the keyboard setting changes back to UK. Any suggestions?
