    Hi,
I have Dell Inspiron 5558 17" Laptop which I bought in 2014. I upgraded the hard drive to 1TB SSD 2 years ago and thinking of upgrading RAM from 16 to 64GB. However, the screen doesn't work and I have to use a monitor to work on it and in the PV check it came up that it's not compatible for Win11. Is it worth to spend money on screen fix, RAM upgrade, CPU upgrade or better to buy a new one?
Fixing may take about $600 and a new one can cost $1400/$1500. Cost aside, which way is better? Can someone please advise.
    TIA!

    new Laptop is better:

Current laptop's CPU is solered on mainboard, upgrading is difficult and dangerous.
Current laptop's RAM maxium capacity is 16G*2 (there is no DDR3L 32G * 1 RAM stick for laptop), new laptop with 2 DDR5 slots support Intel(32G*2), AMD(48G*2).
Current laptop, speed of SSD never over 600M/s, new laptop with pcie 4.0 is 7000M/s.
