Updating, over and over and over

    I'm using Fedora 10 with Gnome and the update manager seems to run constantly. Message boxes keep popping up in the corner saying it's downloading updates, installing updates, nothing to update, and then it does it all again. Anybody else having this problem?

    I do not make any updates of the kernel because I had the troubles with updated kernels.
    I even turned the update system off because of those problems.
    And now I do not see any icons trying to download and install an update - and I am really happy :) now with my baby.
