Unable to type the @ sign!!

Hiya everyone,

My new Acer Aspire one arrived today but i am having problems

please can someone tell me how to type the @ sign?

I have tried to use the shift key and the function key, but neither of these ae allowing me to type the @ sign the only things that will type is (') and (") from the key with the @ sign on.

Also, i am having trouble displaying the following webpage:

uk.yahoo.com/index_narrow.html - it sounds like it is trying to connect but it keeps clicking and the page stays blank.

Please can someone help?

So sorry!! Just worked out how to type the @ sign !!

When i was setting up the notebook it asked me which keyboard i wanted to use, but it suggested the us one (even though i was in uk!) but just changed it to uk and it is now working
