    Hello all,

I recently bought an AO532h-2268 with windows7. But the starter edition uses about 600MB of the 1 Gig memory at bootup, so I'm trying a linux dual boot. My wireless is fine in windows but very weak in Ubuntu netbook remix(current install), Xubuntu, Kuki, etc. I get one to two bars of signal strength and frequent disconnects asking for my password(but doesn't reconnect) that are only fixed by rebooting. This is with the ath9k driver. I've been trying stuff for three days. I finally found a post in the Ubuntu forum that gives me full bars. I followed the suggestion in post #28, installing the backport modules:

    Hope this helps.
