ubuntu support on the acer aspire one 532h

Ok i have the aspire one 532h and every thing works great but the video and the mic i mean i can take a picture but videos is out of the question what i am asking is this how can i get my web cam to work better with Ubuntu 10.04 also the mic is turned all the way down i got to go in and unmute it then turn it up is there a driver for linux to make the web cam work better?
