Ubuntu Netbook Remix with AAO

    Here's a guy that seems to make it happen.

    However, I have no idea what he's talking about. Anybody here who's tech savy can figure it out and tell us/show us how to install remix on AAO? that would it make it so much btter than the dell.

    Sigh, a flash slide show--that requires flash 9 or maybe 8. I went to the link on a BSD box, which only has flash 7 (enough for youtube.)

    Probably not worth looking at. :)

    This is probably better and seems aimed at the beginner.

    that's actually pretty nice....any idea on the boot time with remix installed?

    With the slow ssd:
    1m05s from the time you push the power button to a fully functioning desktop with remix. It has to load ubuntu first, and then remix on top of that. quite slow. But you can use a custom kernel to get it down to 30-40sec.
