ubuntu 9.04 on acer aspire one 8GB mouse n speed problems

    i jst installed ubuntu 9.04 on my acer aspire one 8GB on linpus, ubuntu seems 2 b wrking fine but it seems like sumtimes it wont let me click on things, could b a menu or icon....ect n also it seems 2 b runnin jst a little bit slower then wen i had linpus.

    can anyone shed sum light please...?

    You should have used EXT2 filesystem for installation. Ubuntu installs EXT3 which is a jounalling filesystem that generates more write operations. On the slow SSD this has a huge impact.
    There are also a lot of other speed/performance improvements that you can apply. Have a look at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/AspireOne110L
