    Does anybody know of a site where I can find this laptop's exact motherboard model, please?

    You could get it to run, but whether it would be worth it or not will be up to you. I actually think that OS X runs better that windows on older hardware, it just seems faster and may be a way to re utilize something that is otherwise unpleasant to use. Check out tonymacx86 and give it a try with multibeast and everything
