Thermal Paste

    By replacing the thermal pads under the fan module with some thermal paste, you'll notice a temperature decrease.
    Usually when browsing the web, I get ~35C - ~43C.
    This mod is pretty quick & easy, but be very careful while doing it.

    How thick are the factory pads? Will a thin layer of thermal paste still touch the heatsink without modification?

    Yes, as I mentioned in my website, a thin layer will do! The pads are really thin.
