    this is the way i have been using internet on the go with my aao. its not that great for speed. but that could due to my area.. very high population..

    Speed kinda of stinks in my area as well but hey it's good enough when you need your internet fix.

    so i did some serious testing yesterday. I was getting 120kbps down and 100kbps up, that is here at work.

    and at home i was getting 960kbps down at 200kbps up, that is a lot better than where I work.

    and this morning I tested it again and here at work i was getting 600kbps down and about 160kbps up.

    I think it matters what time you do it, and the att 3g network isn't up to par just yet due to the volume of these devices on the market currently.

    I have Palm and Windows Mobile

    I have PdaNet, but for Windows Mobile, WiFiRouter is much better:

    Of course, IMHO, the best solution is a pocket sized CradlePoint router :)

    yes that is nice piece of software. but talking specifically about iphones. and PDAnet is offered for it now via Cydia.

    now remember this isn't something supported by apple or att.
