Swap out the motherboard of i5 Acer with an i7 motherboard of the same model?

    Is it possible to buy a higher spec motherboard version of my current laptop model range? I have an VN7-571G, with i5 4210u & 840m. Would I be able to clean swap out (I.e no soldering ect) the motherboard in a year with an VN7, i7 & 860m version?

    Sorry if it is a basic question, but I can't seem to find any answers online! Thanks
