Strange Battery Behaviour AOD 257

    I have purchased new 6cell battery and having strange issue, the battery stats are not being updated correctly, have a look
    and once i shut it down, i cann't turn it on, i have take out the battery and then it will turn on

    I suspect your problem is an underpowered charging brick. I suggest you let the new battery charge for 12 to 24 hours with the netbook off. I once depleted my battery completely and the netbook would not boot when I plugged the charger to the mains. However, I too removed the battery and the netbook fired right up. Reconnected the battery and let it charge back to 100%. No problem after that. A 6 cell battery takes longer to charge than the 3 cell.
