Standby mode

    I have set under power options to enter standby when I close the cover. With my T40 I am used to opening it up and it immediately (well after 4-5 seconds) it springs to life.

    I find with the Acer that if I lift the cover within a short time frame and hit a key it starts but after leaving for a more extended time I have to push the power key.

    Is this normal?
