ssd performance issues (random "lag" - horribly frustrating)

    why on Gods green earth did I choose ssd *bangs head on keyboard*

    I dont suppose upgrading its memory to 1.5 GBs will help at all will it? I'm not tech savy enough to swap the sdd with a CF card :(
