    Hi all

I recently bought an Aspire One for my Wife. It's the 16gig SSD version. However she has found it rather sluggish and quite often waiting for the drive light.

Is it possible to change the SSD and put in a normal HD?

    Thanks

    Robin

"normal" for it being a 1.8" PATA drive using zif cable, yes. Not a standard 2.5" drive.

Thanks Goofball. Next question :) Is it difficult to swap out the drive? Do I need to take it all apart?

It all depends on your definition of "difficult". It isn't really difficult, just "involved". There are some good video tutorials on youtube, just search "tnkgrl", and watch the videos to get an idea.
