I faced a problem with buzzing sound in my aspire one (AOA150-120gb)
the buzzing sound sometimes start when win7 boot screen and finish after loading the desktop, but sometimes it won't stop until I simply "knock" it beside the circle shape below the netbook.

Any idea for this? i already try to google it, but mostly said that's a BIOS problem and I must update my bios, but I already did it, my bios version now is 3.10. It's annoying me when I wanna turn on my netbook in meeting room that have silent sound, and my netbook just "wungggggggggggggggggg"

I have the recording when my netbook start buzzing....

    Hi Blinkxxx

Posting a recording of the noise is a good idea.

From what I can make out it is made by some sort of rotating mechanical device.

As melhiore say it might be the fan. Or it may be a faulty hard disk.

As you say it starts when W7 boots and finishes when the desktop loads, I would suspect the hard disk.

If it is a new machine return it under the warranty.
