I have an 2015 model Aspire E14 notebook presenting problems for almost 12 months. When turned on the Acer logo appears then the screen flashes constantly making it impossible to sign in. A repair was made by a "qualified" PC repairer but I was told that the repair may last between 1 month and 1 year. The repair lasted 1 month . Can anyone give me an indication as to the fault and approximate cost to have a permanent solution. The new cost was only around A$500 ( was a gift) but I did expect 5 years troublefree use as it is used daily for email checking only.

    Hi

Do you know if it was a screen replacement repair you had done or the screen rectifier repair?.

Are you sure it is not a software problem?

This is what I would try, load a linux operating system on to a flash drive.

Run it from the flash drive BUT DO NOT INSTALL IT. If your machine screen works normally
    then it's a software problem.

Trying things this way will not cost you anything.
