Should I switch my OS?

    Right now I'm on Windows 7 and trying to get Project 64 to run well. I'm using 1624 modded 950 drivers and 400% GMA Booster, and games like "Diddy Kong Racing" (which runs flawlessly on other people's systems) is struggling to maintain a steady FPS. I'm not attached to windows 7 in any way, and reformatting wouldn't be a problem. Is it worth it if I switched to XP? Would I see better performance? Thanks.

    Has anyone specifically tested gaming performance between XP and Windows 7? Is there a difference?

    My GTA "lags" a bit more on Windows 7, but NOT much. ;)
    try lower settings..
