Welcome to the laptop forums site

I am not going to recommend a certain model however here's things
that should help in your choice.

Here's a web page link that will help in choosing the cpu
just type in the search box the cpu's number

    http://www.passmark.com/

Forget if it's i3,i5 or i7 it's the model number that will show how powerful
    it is.

Ram: ddr3 is the oldest the higher the number the better, IE ddr5 is better than
    ddr3.

Forget: cpu ghz look at the web page above.

Battery: the more cells the better it will run on battery.

The screen choice is a personnel thing

Graphics if you can afford a better “none” integrated then go for this option
    integrated graphics will use ram.

You don't need to be considering anything under 500gb hard drive, most come
with 1tb drives, if you can afford a machine with a ssd drive then this is better still
