I purchased my AA1 for tuning and working on my car and as such have many different programs and software packages I use. One of those is an electronic service manual on CD. In normal use the program files are loaded onto my PC the 1st time I use it. And the database remains on the CD. Then whenever the program is used the PC would search the CD to find and open the necessary files. I've successfully copied the CD onto an SD Card and gotten everything to work except the program is still looking for a CD instead of searching the SD Card.
    • *How do I tell the program to look for an SD Card instead of a CD ROM?

    Thanks for the assistance.

Depends on the program. Some use .ini files to know where to look. Others will use registry setting. If it's a database-style program, it will be written in the code of the front-end (GUI). It basically is up to the programmer to decide what method to use.
