Satellite S75-A7334 very slow to boot even with new SSD

    A friend asked for help with his laptop. I noticed it takes 20-30 minutes to load the OS. I replaced the HDD with a brand new SSD. After doing this, the LCD doesn't even power on. Laptop powers on fine, no blinking lights, no error codes via beep patterns, no Toshiba logo, etc. I plugged in an external monitor via the onboard VGA port, no change.

    Any help is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.
